The April 2013 POPSUGAR Must Have Box has shipped and the box weight is 1.5 lbs. More info when I get it!

Alright, this next bit are NOT spoilers, but some guesses.

1. BAGGU Bag:

This month, in their various editors' April Must Haves list, the Baggu Bag was mentioned twice and I am very suspicious that another Baggu Bag will be in this month's Must Have Box and here is breakdown on why I think so:

-We know POPSUGAR frequently features brands more than once
-The box this month is pretty light by PSMH standards
-April has Earth Day, and the Baggu Bag fits in nicely with that April day of observance (they even said this in their selection of it as a Must Have)

2. Silver Linings:

-They are lightweight
-Their PR people have been dialing it up the last few months
-One of their editors picked it as a Must Have
-I spotted a very suspicious Instagram comment about it

*I have additional guesses about items PSMH will be featuring soon but they are less substantiated so I won't go into my thoughts behind them as much:

-Makeup (I really think this might be in this box)
-Fitness item/dvd (we have not had fitness stuff since Jan and we are due)
-Items from Ilia, Yes to Cucumbers, and Govino (Govino especially for this month because it is light and people really liked them the last time they went out-eventually ;-).

  1. I just got my box and while others may like it, I am disappointed. I got the February box and loved it and was so bummed I missed out on March, so I was eagerly awaiting April ... until I opened it just now. It's supposedly "Earth Day"-themed, but I think that's a bit of a stretch.

    It came with:

-A 2.82 oz bar of Alter Ego 60% dark chocolate with toasted quinoa

-A "clutch-sized" (maybe 3.5" x 3.5") package of 40 Tatcha Aburatorigami blotting papers (retail $12, I think, but not 100% sure based on the size)

-A .125-oz roller of Kai "gardenia & white flowers" perfume oil (retail $48)

-A "Shashi" bracelet that features gold beads woven together with blue & brown cord (retail $20)

    -A black Popsugar-branded dry cleaning bag/laundry tote.

Some people may love this box but it was a miss for me. I don't like/can't wear flowery scents so the fragrance is a no-go, the bracelet is okay but not really my style--and more importantly it seems to have kinks in it from where it was folded during shipping, I'm trying to stay away from sweets (and can't imagine I'm the only one) so I'm not thrilled that chocolate has appeared in both boxes I've received so far, I have no opinion about the blotting papers and a LAUNDRY BAG? That's boring black (except for the bright pink logo)? Since it transforms from a duffel or laundry bag to a hanging garment bag (& also to hamper, but you have to supply your own frame for that) it's supposed to be eco-friendly and save you from having to use those disposable plastic bags at the dry cleaners, but I just can't get excited about a garment bag as a must-have item. I get what they're trying to do but who doesn't already own laundry & garment bags?

Anyway, I hope others like this box more than I did. I'm really wishing I'd purchased March like I'd planned instead of April.

  4. This is my first Popsugar Must Have box and I was really looking forward to it after seeing the March box. I am so disappointed and these are products that I would expect in a $10 sub box. Definitely going to cancel...

  5. I usually try to hold my judgment until the box is in my hot little hands and I have had time to play with it. That said, here is my take on the contents:

-A 2.82 oz bar of Alter Eco 60% dark chocolate with toasted quinoa

I like chocolate and have not tried this kind before, so maybe I will fall in love? I don't know, I am a little up in the air.

-A "clutch-sized" (maybe 3.5" x 3.5") package of 40 Tatcha Aburatorigami blotting papers (retail $12, I think, but not 100% sure based on the size)

I have never tried blotting papers. My hunch is these will rarely be used though.

-A .125-oz roller of Kai "gardenia & white flowers" perfume oil (retail $48)

I LOVE Kai and almost sprung for a bottle last month so this one makes me VERY happy.

-A "Shashi" bracelet that features gold beads woven together with blue & brown cord (retail $20)

I really want to wait and see on this one, but I have really liked the bracelets PSMH has sent me so far.

    -A black Popsugar-branded dry cleaning bag/laundry tote.
