If they were trying to keep me as a customer after the January box late, late, late shipping combined with very poor communication fiasco, they failed. This just doesn't excite me at all. Let alone does it excite me enough to stick around to see if February just might ship somewhat on time.
ReplyDeleteI think my expectations for Glossybox's shipping and customer service are pretty low given my history with them, though it should be said they have actually improved quite a bit compared to where they were a year ago. The kicker for me with Glossybox is that they have turned me on to more products than any of my other sub boxes (I think). So I just sort of assume that I will get my box at some point, and enjoy it when I do. It is a weird mindset, but that it my orientation towards Glossybox.
DeleteI feel the same way as you Kit. I've actually bought more full sized products based on the deluxe ones I get in my glossybox, I've cancelled my other subs cause I never really get products that I'm interested in purchasing. My HG moisturiser is the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve we got a few months ago, I will never use anything else so long, as Fresh continues to make it. My perfume is the Bvlgari one we got as well, only I preferred the white tea to the green so that's the one I got. So even though they ship crazy late, I'll stick with them. In fact, I usually get my box by the 27th anyway except this month when my post office lost it.

DeleteYou and I share the same experience with them for sure. I have started to learn to "forget" I am getting it so when it gets here I am delighted :-) I thought of you when I saw that polish!! I knew you would not be a fan ;-)
DeleteHaha! It's nice to at least be consistent. I actually wound up getting two boxes this month cause when my first one disappeared into the aether I called and Alex sent me a new one right away. Then the original showed up the day after the replacement. That being said, I always have the best customer service experience with GB, but the almost every time I call, I wind up speaking with Alex. Maybe she's the key?
